Cesarean Section Rates in America: Part II

Just a quick little update on C-section rates.
This website http://www.cesareanrates.com/ is awesome and will show you your hospitals c-section rate.
Lets remember, and I'll say it a thousand times, the World Health Organization WARNS not to exceed 15%.

From 2009 - 2010:

• 46% (21 out of 46 states) of the USA have shown a decrease, even if just a slight amount, in their c-section rates. 
• 54% (25 out of 46 states) of the USA have shown an increase in their rates. 
• Approx. 10% (5 states) have not had an increase or a decrease in their rates, but they are all between 7 - 18% higher than the warned 15%
• The average, in 2010, for 51 states was 31.9%
